AirBorne XT912

Powered by the Rotax 912UL the XT-912 is undoubtedly the finest flexwing microlight on the market today. When you step into the seat of an XT you will notice how comfortable it is straight away. In flight the XT coupled with the Streak 3 wing has unbelievable and predictable handling. On the ground the engineered finish is obvious. An aerodynamic faired control frame and neat enclosed battens (for a super clean trailing edge) sets the wing apart from others.

The XT is not simply an engine upgrade for the Edge X base - It's a total redesign!. Our CNC miller has enabled innovative design concepts to become a reality. Our customers are saying the XT-912 is the best trike they have ever flown.

Instrument layout and angle allows the pilot to easily monitor engine and flight management. GX2 instrumentation is standard on the XT. Checkout the specs on this superb instrument below.

The SKYDAT GX2 is an avionics instrument of the newest generation. It combines an entire range of flight and engine management instrumentation. The ASI operates with an automatic changeover of scales (low and high). A visual common and individual alarm is provided to attract the attention of the pilot if an important engine parameter is exceeded. Four Stoke Rotax 912 Engine
Ask anyone who has flown the Rotax 912 and you will get an enthusiastic response. This 912 is reliable, It runs smoothly and quietly and uses around 8-12 litres of fuel per hour. With the 72 litre (19 US gallon) fuel tank a cruise speed of 55-60 knots the XT is a true cross country microlight. This reliable Rotax 912 delivers a smooth 80 HP to our new beautifully crafted 3 blade composite propeller with CNC milled hub. People ask why we don't use the 912S and the answer is simple, the S engine will only give you slightly better climb and not more airspeed. The Streak 3 wing is efficient and we don't feel that you need anymore climb performance than what the XT delivers.
